Kamollio is a Brooklyn-born native New Yorker of American- Southern and “Bajan” (Barbados) descent. He has spent most of his early years growing up between Bedstuy and Harlem before his studies in art and business at Skidmore College. He spent a brief period living in Bologna Italy prior to starting his career as an Art Director/ designer in New York City where he has worked with brands like Diane Von Furstenberg, David Yurman, Ermenegildo Zegna, DKNY, Hudson Jeans, Georg Jensen, Maybelline, Berluti, Harry Winston, Nars Cosmetics, and many more. With over 12 years of agency/client experience in advertising, 16 years of developing portrait/still life photography, and practice of the studio arts, his skill have extended him well beyond the scope of a traditional photographer. Kamollio’s images are most noted for their balanced and sensual dance with shadows and light. He has collaborated on projects with Estee Lauder, Sabeau apothecary, Georgia May Jagger, Ashley Graham, Laprairie, Ippolita Jewelry, award-winning Directors, and The Tenth Magazine.
